FTFDS CLIP DROPS THIS WEEK

It's been a crazy last few weeks and adding to the fire is this cool new clip for Melbourne bad asses, F**k The Fitzroy Doom Scene. The guys wanted to do something inspired by the highly influential silent horror film, NOSFERATU featuring the mysterious Count Orlok. And we replied with an unanimous "hell yeah"!

We had a bunch of fun with this, directed by Stuart Simpson, featuring Barry Donohue as Count Orlok, Special Make Up Effects by Nick Kocsis and stylist, Kristie Klien.

DRAGON FORCE Screening

Our brand new short film, DRAGON FORCE, is screening at this years Monster Fest (27th Nov 2016) as part of Trasharama, now in its 16th year!

Dragon Force stars Chocolate Strawberry Vanilla lead actor, Glenn Maynard, this time playing the villain, Nolan. The films lead is non other than Lost Art director, Stu Simpson as the washed up hired killer and co-starring Raphaelle Lagier as Madame Phan, the evil and mysterious assassin.

The film is a very tongue-in-cheek homage to supernatural martial arts films most notably produced by the Shaw Bros (Boxers Omen etc).

Being fans (and past winners) of Trasharama, we are very pleased to be part of the festival again this year.

Come down for some beers and enjoy the insanity.

Tix available here.

Icorgan Video

Here's a sneak peek of our shoot last week for the coming video, DROWNING, for our regular post sound guru Daniel Macdonald and his pet project, ICORGAN.

Drowning will feature a medieval cast, witches, a righteous monk (played by CSV actor, Aston Elliot), his daughter (Jaz Wickson) and the devil himself (Sasha Cuha).

This is going to be a very special video and we cant wait to share with you all.

NEW FEATURE

So it's been a long time since our last update but we have very exciting news. Lost Art has gone into produciton for its third feature film, CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY VANILLA. A black comedy about life, death...and icecream.

Written by Addison Heath and directed by Stuart Simpson, it's a different change of pace to our usual run of horror films, but the script is dark and subversive enough that we are sure horror fans will love it too.

To keep up to date on the production and to see more photos of behind the scenes go to the CSV facebook page and like the bastard.

Shooting is slated to go till the end of Oct 2012, going straight into post production. Completion is set for March 2013. So next year CSV will be hitting film festivals around the world! Stay tuned...
